Orders are not billed until they are shipped. Partial orders are billed based on the value of the shipped goods. Custom or bulk orders will be billed 50% upon receipt of the order.
All orders are prepared and shipped from our warehouse, via trackable domestic or international shippers. Once your order has shipped, you will be notified and sent a tracking number.
Shipping within the USA
The Choi+Shine Design Store offers free ground shipping for:
your first order, including return shipping if you decide to return the goods within 14 days of purchase, and
any order over $100 within the 48 contiguous United States.
When shipping items outside the continental USA, the Choi+Shine Design Store will charge for shipping via international air shippers. This cost does not include brokerage fees, goods and services tax (GST) or customs duties, which may be due upon receipt of delivery, or billed to the customer. This charge will depend on the country being shipped to, and you should enquire locally for more information.
Depending on our stock, the size of your order and its destination, the delivery time may vary. The stated delivery times shown on our website at the time you place an order are subject to change. Should the delivery time change, we will keep you informed of your order’s progress and expected delivery date. Once orders have been fulfilled and checked at our warehouse we will arrange final delivery with our shipping company.
Heavy or oversized items including large lighting fixtures and furniture, are subject to additional shipping charges and require ground freight shipping. Freight shipping takes approximately 5-7 business days, depending on the destination, and can not be expedited.
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed online, but you may contact us directly to make this request. We will make our best efforts to apply the requested change, however it may not be possible to stop or change an order that is already in process.
Cancellation requests may take several days to process and you will be sent notification upon confirmation. If an order ships prior to cancellation, you will be asked to deny acceptance of the delivery or return the shipment once you receive it. A refund will be issued following the standard Return Process. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Service Team.
Returns will not be accepted without a Choi+Shine Design Store return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. No refunds will be issued without an RMA. To complete your return, proof of purchase is required.
If you are not satisfied with any item from our store, you may return it within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. Your refund credit will be issued after the item has been returned to us and inspected. Items must be in like-new condition and working order. Shipping charges are not refundable.
If the items are unopened, you may return them within 30 days of delivery (in new, uninstalled condition and unopened, with original packaging). Your refund will be issued after the item has been returned to us and inspected. Items that are damaged will not be refunded.
After 30 days, returns are not accepted. However, for unopened items we may, at our sole discretion, accept the return, but under all circumstances, such returns will incur a minimum 50% restocking fees. We reserve the right to apply refunds in the form of a store credit.
Any shipping charges you paid on the original order are non-refundable. If returns are made after 14 days, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the credit amount if paid by us. In other words, after 14 days you are responsible for the return shipping cost of any item you return.
Any return of large quantities of the same product (5 or more) are subject to a 50% restocking fee.
Exceptions - We cannot accept returns of:
• Misused or damaged product.
• Products that have been clearly identified as made-to-order or Special Order.
Before ordering large quantities or Special Order or Custom Orders, we encourage you to ask for as much information as you need. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Service Team.
We make every effort to deliver your items to you in perfect condition. Unfortunately, items are sometimes damaged in shipping. We recommend that you inspect all items individually once they arrive so that any damage claims can be made immediately. If your item arrives damaged or with parts missing, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Do not discard the damaged item or its packaging. If you fail to report damages in this time frame, we won't be able to file a claim with the carrier which means we can't accept responsibility for the damages. We will also request that you provide photos of any damaged product, along with the product packaging. Once you notify us that your product was damaged, we will file a claim with the shipper. Claims typically take 8-10 business days to process. Please do not discard the damaged product or the packaging. Typically the shipper will be dispatched to pick the item up for inspection and processing. We'll need your help in making it available for pickup on the scheduled date and time. In most cases, we are able to order a replacement part at no cost to you as soon as the damaged one has been picked up. In some instances it is possible to repair damages and/or defects with replacement parts. When this is the case, we reserve the right to utilize this as a solution.
Please keep in mind that defective goods (those with factory defects, missing parts or other problems originating prior to shipment) are handled differently than goods which are damaged in shipping. We make every effort to ensure quality production and inspection procedures are in place, but sometimes defects do occur. We will work with you to resolve these issues, but please report any product defect within 30 days of receiving your order. After 30 days, Choi+Shine Design Store will make every attempt to replace your product, however charges may apply.
Choi+Shine Design Store, LLC provides a limited one (1) year warranty from date of purchase to the original purchaser of all products that the fixture is free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty applies under conditions of normal use only. Choi+Shine Design Store, LLC is not liable for natural aging or defects that result from negligence, improper cleaning, misuse, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, unauthorized disassembly, repair/modification, or accidental damage of any kind.
This warranty does not apply to light bulbs and transformer, which are not products manufactured by Choi+Shine Design Store, LLC and are supplied by Choi+Shine Design Store, LLC. with all lamp purchases solely as an accommodation. However, this warranty does extend to Choi+Shine Design Store, LLC. supplied LED arrays and their associated components provided the piece is proven to be defective in material or workmanship within one year of original purchase. For this one year following the date of the original purchase, Choi+Shine Design Store, LLC. will, at its option, repair, replace, or provide a substitute for any piece or part proven to be defective in material or workmanship unless explicitly stated not to be covered by the warranty.
Any costs for packing and shipping are not covered under this warranty. To receive proper service under this warranty the original purchase receipt or invoice must be presented.
